Lara Lanphier
Lara is an amazingly gifted dancer with over 25+ years of teaching experience and 15+ years as a professional dancer. After receiving her BFA in dance, Lara brought the gospel around the world as a dancing missionary with internationally recognized ministries. Her talent, coupled with an enormous heart for the Lord, a passion for children, and a desire to cultivate community is what brings unforgettable moments that impact those she teaches in immeasurable ways.
DANCING WITH PURPOSE
Since 2011, Exult Dance has been dedicated to equipping the next generation of worshippers to dance with excellence unto the Glory of God. We teach a Culture of Freedom and Joy that students take with them wherever they go.
The Heart of Exult Dance has always been ministry through dance. Therefore, we look for ways to minister to our community in lieu of a dance recital. We dance in places such as The Bridge Women's Shelter , Hope Village , and others.
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Ballet/Tap
Ages 3-4
Dancers learn creative movement, basic ballet and tap steps, rhythm work, and biblical teaching on worship.
Ballet/Tap
Ages 5-9
Dancers learn detailed movement vocabulary that is applied to ballet and tap technique. Worship dance also incorporated.
Youth Ballet | Low/High Intermediate Ballet
Ages 10+*TR
Dancers enter into a more difficult application of technique, as they learn to dance with precision and also learn how to perform.
Lyrical | Lyrical Dance Class
Ages 9+
Dancers will experience moving with deeper expression and freedom in this class. Lyrical dance combines technique from ballet, jazz and modern. Floor work is also emphasized in this class, which adds a new element for dancers.
Family Hip Hop/Stomp Fusion
Ages 7+ (BOYS AND PARENTS INCLUDED!)
A fun combination of beginning hip hop movements and rhythmical phrases including variations of stomps, claps, and percussive movement. This class is great for boys and girls. We will be making a joyful noise and a joyful dance unto the Lord!
All classes are by level with the suggested age as a general guideline. The teacher reserves the right to recommend placement for students.
